Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day! Our usual trip to Pontotoc got rained out, but we made the best of it right here at home! Seeing as we had bought sandwiches and fixings for "20," we just had an open door and all had lunch at our house. Then neighbors came over, along with mom and Turner, and we played the day away. After long naps, we joined up with the neighbors again and took the kids to eat BBQ at Natural Born Grillers... YUM! When we got there, the restaraunt next door was hosting an outdoor party. A local radio station had the music blasting so of course our kids had to put on a show! They danced their heart outs! The day wouldn't have been complete without Calvin cutting a watermelon and spreading it out in the driveway (the true redneck side coming out) for all to eat.

Thank you to all who have served our country and who continue to do so!
